The technology that we deliver today is already “tuned” for the future. Functions such as crop yield per square meter of harvested area, 1 cm precision planting of vines, mapping of vineyards according to the location of each shrub, these are all real functions and it is the beginning of the future! With the availability of such data and the increasing development of analysis software, it is possible to analyze the condition of each individual vine and plan appropriate care measures for each individual vine (fertilization, protection against diseases, clearing, etc.), or e.g. a tool for intermediate planting that “knows” the location of each stick in the vineyard.

The History

Agro Maschinen & Technologie Handels GmbH was founded in 1997.

The aims and tasks were the sale of agricultural machinery, spare parts and components in the countries of the former Soviet Union.

In the period between 1997 and 1998, more than 40 Progress E716 and E517 combine harvesters and other machines were sold and delivered.

The 1998 crisis in Russia put the company’s operations on hold for almost four years. During this time export activities were practically stopped and new fields of activity and partners were sought. During this time, we started assembling roller shutters and importing wood for saunas, and later with the production and assembly of saunas made of linden and aspen. At the same time, we have revived our original activities – agricultural machinery and spare parts.

In 2002 the sale of agricultural machinery and spare parts was reactivated.

In 2002, together with the Spross company, the first complete Schumacher cutting systems for completing trailed cutting units were delivered to the Astana-Agropromtechnika company in Kazakhstan. It can be said that with this delivery the history of the development of the Russian division of the Schumacher Group – Schumacher OOO began. 2003-2004 projects for the assembly of cutting units with German components for other companies such as “Uralsk Agroremmash” and “Krasnoyarsk combine harvester” were realized.

From 2004 to 2017 there was an active cooperation with the companies of the Schumacher Group in the former Soviet Union – support for all Schumacher LLC projects – organization of the export of products, work with suppliers and customers, acquisition of new customers, work with consumer companies, negotiations, exhibitions , Order placement, organization of assembly units and components and finally the production of knife drives in Russia.

In 2004, parallel to the product range of the Schumacher Group, work with machines for viticulture was started. In 2004 the first ERO grape harvester was delivered to the Stavropol region. Nowadays this direction has become our main topic. The portfolio of equipment we deliver is able to meet all the requirements of modern viticulture. We are sales partners of well-known manufacturers such as ERO, Wagner Pflanzentechnik, Nobili, Lipco, Clemens, Weber, Müthing, ERMO, Fuhrmann, Whailex, Dondi, Jumar, Weremczuk, Dolmec, and others. With our partners, we can meet the needs of technology for viticulture, from refining to harvesting and sorting of seedlings, from planting to harvesting and transporting the harvest.
